Althea Northcross

hypno-psychedelics

combining practical neuroscience and modern hypnosis techniques, we will explore “altered states of consciousness” gently, slowly and with careful consideration of your desires, without the need for pharmacological medicines.

this work is deeply client focused, with the purpose being a witness to the breadth of your experiences, both from within and outside of the trance state.

traditions of modern practice that inform this work are David Bedrick’s UnShaming witness work, Melissa Tiers’ Coaching the Unconcious Mind work, as well as somatic experiencing and psychedelic session witnessing techniques.

“Althea provided a nurturing space for me to explore my inner truth during our hypno-psychedelic session. Her guidance was gentle and attentive, allowing me to navigate the process with ease. I felt fully supported and left the session with newfound clarity and a sense of hopefulness. I’m grateful for the experience and confident that I can tackle any challenges ahead.”

“I recently had an amazing hypnosis session with Althea. Her use of creative techniques, including psychedelic breathing, created a massive resource state, and profound release. The experience gave me new insights and left me feeling so grateful and connected to the world around me. Althea is a warm and curious practitioner and made me feel safe as I delved deep into my unconscious mind. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a truly transformative experience.”

As I develop this work, I have done several free hypno-psychedelic sessions for climate change action enthusiasts, and I will continue to provide free sessions for those looking to gain a new perspective for their advocacy work. If you would like to be considered for a free climate advocacy session, please contact me to discuss.

9 volunteers completed the Watts Connectedness Scale before and after our sessions in February 2024. Chart shows percent increase in feelings of connectedness to self, to others and to the world. read more on Dr. Rosalind Watts’ work
